Austrian and Festoon Blinds
Austrian blinds are a form of curtain,
They have panels of cords that run down behind the fabric that pull up the fabric to form a ruching fold from the bottom up.
This is the feature of the Austrian blind.
Austrian blind can be made from a wide range of fabrics and can be accessorized by adding frills on the bottom edgings and tassel fringes and piping and finish with padded pelmets.
Festoon blinds are also a form of curtain,
A festoon is ideally made with sheer fabric.
The ruching to a festoon blind is that the ruching is consistent from top to bottom when the blind is all the way down.
It also can be pulled up the same way as the Austrian blind.
